The Story:
Folkestone-born Walter Tull was nothing less than a hero and a hugely inspirational figure. Following a football career as the one of the first black players to compete at the highest level, he became the first black officer to lead white soldiers into battle, during WWI.

The Project:
As part of their commemorations of the centenary of the end of WWI, Folkestone Museum commissioned us to design a major exhibition about Walter’s life.
What we did:
We developed a number of design templates in keeping with the Museum house style and produced 18 exhibition panels, editing text and writing introductory paragraphs. We worked closely with Museum staff to co-ordinate graphic elements with artefacts on display.
